Unlike the typical "NRI", that is; someone who loathes travelling to india because of the pollution, society yada yada.. I, In fact, Love it! Probably because

a) my cousins are Cool, when I mean cool, I mean totally untraditional. They're the same age as me and we totally get along.
b) I love travelling, I went rajasthan last time, it was oh so beautiful. The palaces, the culture, I see myself as a socially and culturally literate person and love learning about society and culture. As I see myself as an outsider to the different cultures india has to offer, I find it enriching to understand how different walks of life, live.
c) well how can I forget Shopping!, although it may seem hazardous at times squirming through the overwhelming crowds, who can't enjoy a good bargain?
hmm thats about it for now.
oh and of course HARRY POTTER comes out today! YAYAYAYAY

i'm going to watch it on Sunday though, so i'll keep you guys posted on how that goes! I'll try not to be to harsh though, and compare it with the books and all.

ReplyDeleteum excuse me? HP is for the 90s kids! cheers, FYI i'm over 18, nd HP is an Event of a Generation. It may seem childish for those who havnt read the books, but u should know the themes are much more deep than what is portrayed in the movies =]
